What is Environmental Health?

Environmental health is the science of identifying and understanding how exposure to hazards in air, water, soil, and food impact people.  The main goal is to prevent illness and injury by regulating environmental health hazards, monitoring,  and employing environmental engineering methods creating safe places to live, work and play.
